Lord Use These Hands

When God’s Word is shared,

But millions are deaf

Or hearing impaired.

With this thought in mind,

My burden was great.

How could I be used

To communicate?

I asked, "Dear Lord,

Oh what can I do...

To help the deaf

He who knows all

And who understands,

Seemed to say clearly,

"It’s all in your hands!"

Then it dawned on me,

The value of sign,

And that I could speak

Through these hands of mine.

Now my heart is rejoicing

And filled with cheer,

For my hands shall be used

So the deaf may hear!

Lord, may my hands

Always be used for thee,

To sign the Gospel
