Rom 5:17
17 For if by one man's
offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of
grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus
Christ.)
(KJV)
It’s time for the Children of
God to wake up! The coming of our Lord is rapidly approaching and we
should not be caught sleeping. A major problem in the Church is the fact
that God’s Children are too busy calling themselves sinners and begging
God for forgiveness. When we are like this, we are no use to God in
Ministry. Leave behind the sinner that died and move into righteousness
with God. I am not nor will I ever suggest that we don’t sin. We are
human and occasionally make mistakes. When that occurs, ask God for his
tender, never failing forgiveness and move on. What I am saying is that
we are the righteousness of God in Christ and it’s time that we started
acting that way. We are not and will never again be sinners in God’s
eyes.
2 Cor 5:21
21 For he hath made him to be
sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of
God in him.
(KJV)
If we continue to call
ourselves sinners, we are calling God a liar and the Truth is not in us.
We WERE sinners (PAST TENSE). God’s Word even speaks of us as being
sinners in the PAST TENSE.
Rom 5:8-9
8 But God commendeth his love
toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now
justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
(KJV)
If you’ve sinned, give it to
Jesus and let Him cleanse you. If you don’t know Christ personally, come
meet Him. God said all we have to do is ask and He will come into our
hearts.
John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the
world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son
into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved.
(KJV)
Acts 16:31
31 And they said, Believe on
the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
(KJV)
I Jn 1:9
9 If we confess our sins, he
is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.
(KJV)
Submit to the Lord and
understand who you are in Christ. Then you can be all that God wants you
to be. |
